s. nathaniel gonzalez (he/him) is an pragmatic abolitionist and the primary consultant for NorthNode Praxis & Strategies, LLC. Founder of Healers for the Culture, he is a doula, bodyworker, and organizational development consultant based in Minneapolis, MN.
He has over 15 years experience leading in-person trainings and workshops as well as over 500+ hours training in experiential workshop design and facilitation. He dropped out of an MSOD program in 2016 and is currently seeking a Master's Degree in Social Innovation and Sustainability with a focus on embodiment at Goddard College. Outside of work he organizes with Cocoa Butta Futures mutual aid project and coordinates the Community Free Store out of the Rare Productions Space in South Minneapolis. |
Qui Alexander
Dr. Qui Alexander (they/them) is a queer, trans, Black Puerto Rican scholar, educator, organizer, and consultant based in Toronto. They are currently an Associate Professor of Gender, Sexuality, and Trans Studies in Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Toronto OISE.
Their work and scholarship centers queer Black feminist praxis, Black trans studies, transformative justice, abolition and healing justice. Grounded in their experiences as a community organizer, Qui views their scholarship as a place to articulate the cultural work they do in relation to their communities. Qui is a collaborator that often works with NNP to support clients in transformative justice approaches + interventions, group mediation, and large group facilitation. |

Rowan Emmanuel (they/them): is a mixed, Indigenous, Xicanx/SWANA, queer, trans & disabled little dandelion puff.
Floating & breathing in this world as a community herbalist/brujx, facilitator, farmer, bodyworker (biodynamic craniosacral, reiki & sobada practitioner) , full-spectrum support companion— focus on abortion & loss, organizer, space holder, collaborator, humxn. Their practice is rooted in deep listening, ritual and co-creating a fluid container for nourishment, rest, liberation, joy and unknowns. Rooted in + committed to learning + being in reciprocity with. Swimming in the in between spaces, sitting with complexities, highlighting cross-threads and growing/learning with the tides. Navigating the seen + unseen and finding collaboration in the tangible and intangible realms. Doing tangible shit too while unlearning and shifting into a narrative of abundance for self + others and away from survival and productivity. They can often be found giggling and snacking amongst the plant and other nature & humxn friends. Living, working, playing, being, queering, dismantling and loving deeply on occupied Dakhóta + Anishinaabe land -- Bdeóta Othúŋwe/Gakaabikaang, Mnisota (also known as Minneapolis, MN). rowan is a collaborator that works with NNP on collective care including but not limited to developing individual and collective wellness practices, safety planning, and direct action safety strategies. |
